Years ago a child who had or could possibly have had Dwafism would have been put into a asylum because doctors didn't really understand or know how to treat a person with Dwarfism. However, people with Dwarfism are leading normal lives. They are accepted into society in every imaginable way. This includes going to school, having careers, getting married and even having children.
I see first hand how Dwarfs live and deal with everyday situations Because there are reality show that go deep into their lives. For example:Little People Big World and The Little Couple. You can find both shows on TLC.

Ya!!!!! I know. Alot of people with other disorders that were diffrent were usually put into a asylum as well, because the doctors couldn't understand so how could a person with out a medical degree.
